Numbers

Players receive a number and play 1v1, 2v2, etc when the coach calls out player #’s.

• Objective

  To score before the other team.

• Directions

  1. Split the team into two equal groups. Assign everyone in the group a number 1-5. Each group stands at one end of the field.

  2. Coach calls a number and those players enter the field to play 1v1.

  3. When a goal is scored or the ball goes out of play, players go back to their team and new numbers are called.

• Variations

  • To keep students engaged: players not on the field playing are all playing as “super” goalies!
