Soccer Bowling

Soccer scrimmage where points are scored by knocking balls off cones.

• Set Up

  • Set up a soccer field without goals

  • Place 3 cones on each end of the field evenly spaced out

  • Balance 1 ball on each cone

  • Separate players into two teams at each side of the field, with one team wearing pinnies

• Equipment

  • Balls

  • Disc cones

  • Pinnies

• Objective

  To knock down all 3 balls in your end zone

• Directions

  1. First team to knock all 3 balls off is the winning team.

  2. Reset and begin a second round.

• Variations

  • Challenge: add more cones balancing balls

• Coaching Points

  • Have the players complete 4 passes before knocking a ball off

  • Transition into a normal scrimmage when the teams become frustrated or uninterested
