• Set Up

  • One goal

  • A half-circle of cones in front of the goal AKA “fire pit” - students are not allowed to enter that area during gameplay

• Equipment

  • Balls

  • Disc cones

• Objective

  To score more points than the opposing teams.

• Directions

  1. Split the group into pairs or teams of 3.

  2. Players are not allowed to cross the “fire pit.” Once a team scores, they sit on the endline and will advance to the next round.

  3. The last team that has not scored is out.

  4. Continue playing until one team is left the World Cup Champion

  5. If the team crosses the firepit line they or their team are out!

• Variations

  • Add in extra balls during gameplay.

  • Teams who are knocked out can become goalies to keep them involved.

  • Challenge: teams have to say their country name before they score in order for their goal to count

  • Every team chooses a country to be or a team name

  • This is a fun game to have the captains play with each other when they have free time
