Give and Go Goal

Players complete a give and go and shoot on the goal.

• Set Up

  • Put players in 2 lines, 20 feet apart

  • Place a cone 2 feet in front of and between the players

• Equipment

  • Balls

  • Disc cones

• Objective

  Perform give and go and score

• Directions

  1. Players line up in 2 lines.

  2. Player A passes to Player B and runs to the center of the field.

  3. Player B passes back to Player A.

  4. Player A takes a shot on goal.

  5. Players A and B run to the back of the opposite line.

• Variations

  • Increase/decrease distance between lines

  • Add a goal and have Player C and D work on Scoring

• Coaching Points

  • Players should make an “L” with their feet

  • Encourage players to accelerate to the next line after their pass
